John Forgash

John Forgash

Founder and Principal

John Forgash is the founder of SolHarvest Energy, where he draws on more than 15 years of renewable energy experience to lead the company's growth and strategic direction. He brings a hands-on command of the full project lifecycle — from securing competitive greenfield, sand-and-gravel, and floating project sites to managing complex development and interconnection deliverables. John also leads the company's efforts to negotiate and execute the purchase and sale agreements that connect SolHarvest's construction-ready projects with experienced long-term owner-operators, ensuring each project transitions seamlessly from development to operation.

Before founding SolHarvest, John spent more than five years with EDF Renewables North America, a market-leading international independent power producer and owner-operator. There he led site origination and development for utility scale wind and solar projects across Texas and the Southwest, as well as Massachusetts and Colorado, building deep expertise in competitive energy markets and large-scale project execution. Earlier in his career, he developed commercial real estate projects across Colorado, Arizona, and California, giving him a well-rounded foundation in site development, land use, and project finance.

John holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame. His combination of academic training, real estate development experience, and renewable energy expertise helps SolHarvest deliver results-driven solar and battery storage development across targeted US markets.

Dylan McAuliffe

Dylan McAuliffe

Vice President of Market Development and Strategy

Dylan McAuliffe has been originating and developing solar projects since 2015 and battery energy storage projects since 2017, with a specialization in rooftop solar for commercial real estate. He has deep experience developing both community solar and behind-the-meter systems for commercial and industrial partners.

Over 12 years in the industry, Dylan has taken on a diverse set of roles — beginning at a solar installation company, where he gained firsthand exposure to engineering and construction, then moving into project development across multiple states and utility territories. He later took on a policy-focused role, applying his command of state and federal regulatory developments to identify the strongest sites and optimize each project's value. Dylan has served on the board of directors of CHESSA (the Chesapeake Solar C Storage Industries Association) and currently serves on the board of MSSIA (the Mid-Atlantic Solar C Storage Industries Association).

Before renewables, Dylan spent 10 years as an elementary school teacher in New York, New Jersey, and Japan, and also worked as a FINRA-licensed General Securities Representative in finance. Prior to SolHarvest, he served as Director of Policy and New Markets at Solar Landscape, VP of Project Development at Pfister Energy, and was a partner at REBA, a commercial real estate owner's-rep firm.

Jason Su

Jason Su

Vice President of Business Development

Jason Su is a renewable energy professional with more than 10 years in the industry and a focus on the distributed generation segment. Most recently a Structuring Manager at Nautilus Solar Energy, he developed a strong command of complex deal structuring, project finance, and the regulatory frameworks that govern community solar and distributed generation programs across multiple states. His work at Nautilus sharpened his ability to evaluate project economics, assess risk, and structure transactions that maximize value for investors and stakeholders alike.

At SolHarvest, Jason channels that experience into identifying and developing high-impact solar and energy storage opportunities. He works across a broad range of clean energy technologies — ground-mounted solar, floating solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and rooftop solar — which allows him to evaluate projects holistically and match the right solution to the needs of each site and stakeholder.

Driven by a commitment to accelerating the clean energy transition, Jason brings a solutions-oriented mindset and a proven track record to every project at SolHarvest — whether he's navigating intricate deal structures or advancing emerging technologies like floating solar.
