NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT HEARING

A second public comment hearing in the above-entitled matter is scheduled for Monday, December 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at John Street Quarters, 28 John Street, Westminster, MD 21157, concerning Bear Branch Solar LLC’s application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Maryland Public Service Commission. The hearing will include a presentation by the Applicant.

Members of the public may attend this hearing in person to listen to the presentations and to provide comment about the Project. If any member of the public is unable to attend in person and would like to participate virtually, they should send an email to psc.pulj@gmail.com by 12:00 Noon on November 27, 2024. The email must reference Case No. 9730. Otherwise, a recording of the hearing will be available on the Public Utility Law Judge Division’s YouTube Channel, https://bit.ly/2X6wLiP.

Written comments on the proposed Project may be submitted electronically through the Commission’s website at www.psc.state.md.us, or by first-class mail with the Commission’s Chief Clerk, Jamie Bergin, Maryland Public Service Commission, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202, until December 13, 2024 and must reference Case No. 9730. Pursuant to the Commission's March 13, 2020 Notice of Waiver and Relaxed Filing Requirements, no paper copies need be submitted if the filing is public in nature and no more than 25 pages in length. The Commission encourages parties to use the Commission’s “e-file” system for filing.
