John Forgash

Owner & Founder

John Forgash is the founder of SolHarvest Energy and has been developing renewable energy projects in various markets throughout the Country since 2008. He specializes in early stage site identification and development and mid to late stage asset acquisitions. Prior to forming SolHarvest Energy, Mr. Forgash spent over six years with EDF Renewable Energy, a leading U.S. independent power producer with over three gigawatts of installed capacity. While at EDF RE, he led development and acquisition activities for grid-tied wind and solar projects in ERCOT, SPP, Massachusetts, and Colorado. Mr. Forgash also has experience developing commercial real estate projects in Colorado, Arizona, and California. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
